Message: Finding Rest

We all need to remind ourselves to rest. To approach the endless challenges within our minds and without with a view towards balance. To seek light and joy each day, no matter how bleak our hearts or the skies. Little moments can give us strength and humor to carry on with perspective.

Relish the day, soak in the sun - or allow yourself to get soaked in the rain!

And then rest afterward and give thanks for the beautiful earth upon which we walk.

One of the most striking things that happens to us in our resurrection of the body is that tiny, trivial things seem beautiful and marvelous—which, indeed, they are, as we recognize when we take time to study them carefully. When we take a little time to remember to look, to marvel, we find that there are sources of joy, of esthetic delight, of quiet happiness on every hand…. "
